Greenhouse Gas Protocol Survey

Today the organization Greenhouse Gas Protocol released the first results of its recent survey. Their aim is to “set the global standard for how to measure, manage and report greenhouse gas emission”. They have not released any details yet, but it is interesting to see that about a quarter of the responses are to do with Scope 3 emissions.

It will be interesting to see what people had to say about that topic, given that Scope 3 emissions are always someone else’s Scope 1 or 2. Scope 3 seems to be adding an unnecessary level of complication.
